I'm not gonna saddle up for the west, bottlecape? chaps? i thought you were joking about those?well in my humble opinion....... the boots I'm talking about have plastic heel toes and have dyed white leather and have black on the rest of the boot with plastic buckles. they are mostly mesh and reinforced plastic. however plain leather cowbow boots like mr-mc-cx500 has ( not yet a member ) looks embarrassing to wear, even on the bike itself. BUT i will be going to a motorcycle track this upcoming spring. oh yeah? not only do i want boots, i want pants as well, no way I'm showing up on a track with jeans and skate shoes..... maybe just the jeans with the Kevlar material inserts, they are about $60 to $150.be safe and smart

IMHO the boots look gay the second you get off the bike or the director says cut. I wanted brown leather chaps at first then i just thought any time i'm away from the bike how am i going to explain them? That kept me from buying them. That kind of stuff is for the track and the movies you can get away with just a nice pair of hikeing boots, just don't go the flip flop route.

i want a pair of alpinestar boots they range from like $89 to $400 dollars though I'm still deciding if i should get the shorty style boot or they normal tall boot this spring, because i hate ring with skating shoes.
